However, this teaser does have The Sims community abuzz with excitement for whatever the new content may be. This isn’t shocking, as the game is more than likely due for a new DLC pack. On Twitter recently, the SimGurus, particularly SimGuru Frost and SimGuru George, have been teasing an upcoming DLC for The Sims 4. Most DLC adds some form of new gameplay, whether it’s a world, hobby, or new Create-A-Style or Build/Buy mode items. The Sims 4 also recently added a new type of DLC called “kits,” but those function more like The Sims 3 Store rather than full-blown DLC additions. Each The Sims iteration has had some form of DLC, whether it’s been expansion, stuff, or game packs. The Sims franchise has always been known for having additional DLC that adds to the base game experience.
